Hi! I’m Madonna Davidoff, a children’s book illustrator who loves creating warm, textured artwork filled with gentle stories and expressive little characters. I work with a mix of traditional media—gouache, watercolor, and colored pencils—and digital tools like Procreate, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I enjoy blending the two worlds to make art that feels handcrafted, playful, and full of heart.

I’m a member of SCBWI and CBIG, and one of my early illustrations was selected as a finalist in the very first SCBWI Artist Showcase in New York. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of collaborating with clients such as Van Nostrand, Bonnier Publications, Markus Wiener Publishers, Africa World Press, Black Book Press, Crane Publishing, and Bridges International of Zurich.

Although I’m based in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania, I keep a habit of creating a small studio wherever I travel. With a sketchbook, a handful of paints, and my iPad, even the simplest corner becomes a workspace. These shifting settings keep my process fresh and my stories growing, no matter where I am.
